Knitting groups

So I finally plucked up the courage and went to my first knitting group. No, that's a lie, I finally plucked up the courage and went to a knitting group and stayed.

I didn't leave the office till half past seven, hit awful traffic in Camden Town, ran out of petrol (causing a nerveracking stint up Camden High Street to Chalk Farm Road), then had to swing by home to pick up my knitting, so by the time I actually got to the NW k2tog group, most of the knitters were about to leave. However, a kind soul made me feel very welcome and chatted to me, and I even got my needles out and added a few more rows to the back.

The venue is nice, a large Starbucks with loads of sofas and comfy chairs, although the group sat around tables. Everyone seemed very friendly, so I am hoping to go again in a couple of weeks. Thought I would try to go to Angelknits next week.
